The Call is a roaming sound and sculpture installation by artist Katie Anderson. The work is a playful investigation of space through our audible landscapes and is performed each day of the festival by two sounders, who move the work around the streets of Middlesbrough, emitting a call and response sound composition. Visitors were invited to join at any point during the performance and explore the town through this new way of listening.
