Aisha Lama
Aisha is a poet, creative producer and entrepreneur. Her poetry explores nature, love, loss and identity. 2026 is the year Aisha will be developing her performance practice, after spending the 2025 helping support other artists. She has performed at various events across Teesside, and has released multiple zines and chapbooks. Aisha has been running Write Yourself Well for just over two years, providing events, spaces, products and workshops that focus on writing for wellbeing and writing for fun. In 2024, alongside visual artist Chris Layfield, Aisha became co-director of Story & Studio CIC where she manages large scale community art projects focused on societal issues. Alongside these companies, she has worked as a freelance producer for Sonic Arts Week and ARC Stockton; developing a love for performance art.
